The Alzheimer Resource Center is often confused with a national Alzheimer's agency called the Alzheimer's Association. Please be aware that we are not in any way affiliated with the Alzheimer's Association and receive no funding whatsoever from them. We are a completely separate nonprofit organization committed to serving the needs of the Central Florida area, and must raise our own operating funds.
Sponsorship OpportunitiesWhy the Alzheimer Resource Center? Why should your organization support the Alzheimer Resource Center through a corporate sponsorship? By doing so you enable our agency to fulfill its mission to lighten the burden and improve the quality of life for families devastated by Alzheimer's disease through educational counseling, support services, research, and hope. Approximately 4.5 million people nationally and over 40,000 locally suffer from the disease. By the year 2050, researchers estimate that number to rise to 13.2 million Americans. These numbers don't include the millions of family members that become caretakers that are affected indirectly by the disease. With your support, we will be able to continue to bring quality services to the Central Florida community. Your sponsorship will expose your organization to our list of over 4000 caregivers, donors, corporate partners, business professionals, and community members through our newsletter, website, and event publicity. PLEASE NOTE: The Alzheimer Resource Center does not allow a sponsor or vendor to attend any of our Caregiver support groups unless invited by the group. The support groups are for Caregivers only and by their nature very personal and confidential. For further information on these and additional sponsorship opportunities please contact: Additional SponsorshipsQuarterly Workshops - $250 each Offered several times a year at various locations, professionals in the aging community speak on issues affecting caregivers today.
